Order validity:

Orders placed online are valid once the customer has received an order confirmation. The order confirmation is sent by email. For orders placed by fax or letter, a corresponding order confirmation is sent in writing or by email. By placing an order, the buyer accepts SWEDX
terms of sale. An order remains valid until the product is cancelled and SWEDX has notified the customer in writing (by email) that the order has been cancelled.

Order and shipping costs

Order: When you place an order with us, you can choose from the following delivery options:

  1. Express order: This delivery method ensures you receive your goods within 2–4 weeks from the order date. This option is ideal for those who want their goods sooner.
  2. Standard order: With this option, your goods will be delivered 8–10 weeks after the order date. This is a good choice if you can wait a little longer and receive the products at a lower price.

Your choice of order method affects when you can expect to receive your order. If you need your goods within a specific timeframe or have special delivery requirements, please contact us at info@swedx.com.

Shipping cost:

Shipping costs vary depending on the selected delivery method, the size of the order, and the delivery address. The exact shipping cost is specified at checkout before you complete your order. Please note that express delivery may result in higher shipping costs due to faster delivery times.

We work with several reliable shipping companies to ensure your order is delivered safely and efficiently. Tracking information is provided once your order has been dispatched, allowing you to monitor your delivery in real time.

Uncollected parcels

If a parcel is not collected by the customer within the specified timeframe and is returned to us as uncollected, a fee will be charged. The fee for uncollected parcels is 15% of the original shipping cost. Customers should note that only partial refunds will be issued for orders containing uncollected parcels. The refunded amount will be the total order amount minus the additional fee for uncollected parcels.

We strongly recommend that customers carefully monitor delivery status and collect their parcels on time to avoid unnecessary additional costs.

Right of withdrawal

Private individuals (Applies to mail order/online sales only)

SWEDX follows the rules of the Consumer Sales Act and the Distance Contracts Act and Contracts Outside Business Premises Act regarding the right of withdrawal. As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date you receive the product.

The product must be returned complete, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when it was delivered.

Goods may be returned by post or in person.

The customer is responsible for any return postage.

There are no exceptions to the right of withdrawal for our products.

When products are returned under the right of withdrawal, they must be sent back in their original packaging with all accessories in the same condition as when received. If the product or parts are missing upon return, this may extend the processing time. The customer pays the return shipping. When the return has been correctly made in accordance with the Consumer Sales Act, the full price of the product will be refunded, excluding the original shipping costs. The refund is made the day after receipt of the returned product, but always within 30 days.

Businesses

For sales to customers who are not private individuals, the Sale of Goods Act applies.

Warranty

General warranty: All products from SWEDX are sold with a 1-year warranty.

Reduced warranty for commercial use: For LCD/LED TVs (not intended for digital signage) used in commercial contexts, only a 3-month warranty applies.

Inspection fee: If a customer invokes the warranty and the submitted product, upon inspection, shows no fault, the customer will be charged an inspection fee of SEK 650 incl. VAT, plus any shipping costs.

Business liability: When invoking the warranty for sales to businesses (not private individuals), the customer is responsible for sending the product to the SWEDX
service department.

Original packaging: All products claimed under warranty must be returned in the original packaging together with all parts and accessories that were included upon receipt of the product.

Right to make a claim

General provisions:Under the Consumer Sales Act, you have the right to make a claim for defects in a product for up to 3 years after the purchase date, provided that the purchase was made after 1 April 2005.

Burden of proof: If a defect arises within 6 months of the purchase date, it is generally assumed that the defect existed at the time of purchase, unless the seller can prove otherwise. After this 6-month period, it is the buyer’s responsibility to show that the defect existed at the time of purchase. For products purchased after 1 May 2022, defects in a product are presumed to be original for 24 months unless the seller can prove otherwise.

If a product is defective (regarding transport damage, see below), you must submit a claim to SWEDX AB within a reasonable time and return the product in the specified manner. You should carefully inspect all products upon receipt to ensure that they are fault-free and function correctly.

In the event of a claim, you should contact SWEDX AB
customer service and provide the order or invoice number and the reason for the claim in order to obtain a return number and a prepaid shipping label to return the product (applies in Sweden only). The purpose of the return number is to facilitate identification and administration of the product return.

Please note that obtaining a return number and shipping label is not the same as an approved claim. Using the return number obtained from SWEDX AB, the product must be sent to SWEDX AB within 14 days from reporting the return number.

Returns should preferably be sent back in the original packaging or other packaging suitable for the product. Any transport damage due to insufficient packaging will be charged to you as the customer. SWEDX AB inspects/tests the submitted products according to your fault description; therefore, it is advantageous if it is as detailed as possible. If the product proves to be fault-free, or if the defect is not covered by the warranty or the right to make a claim, a fee will be charged to cover SWEDX AB
costs for the return, as well as SEK 650 incl. VAT as an inspection fee.

Transport damage must be reported no later than 7 days after receipt to the shipping company and to SWEDX AB by email: support@swedx.com. If one or more parcels appear damaged (scratches, holes, and even minor damage), even if you believe the contents are undamaged, ensure that it is reported to the shipping company’s delivery staff and that the staff note the damage(s) before you sign for receipt of the delivery. If the parcel appears undamaged and you nevertheless discover damage only after opening it, you must immediately submit a claim to the shipping company and SWEDX.

Exceptions: The right to make a claim does not apply if the defect is due to normal wear and tear or incorrect use. In such cases, you as the buyer are responsible for any repair costs.

Inspection fee: If the defect is self-inflicted or if we cannot identify any fault, we will charge an inspection fee. This fee is currently set at SEK 650.

Liability for defects

Remedy for defects: If a product delivered by SWEDX AB proves to be defective, SWEDX AB undertakes to remedy the defect within a reasonable time and at its own expense. This may be done through repair, replacement delivery, or refund of the purchase price, provided that it does not cause significant inconvenience or disproportionate costs for SWEDX AB.

Limitation of liability: SWEDX AB
liability for defective goods is limited to the remedies mentioned above and to what is stated in the Consumer Sales Act (1990:932). SWEDX AB assumes no liability, whether direct or indirect, for example but not limited to compatibility issues, delivery delays, harmful properties of the goods, product liability, loss of income, operational disruptions, loss of information, additional work, or other financial losses that may arise due to the product.

Support: SWEDX offers free support via email: support@swedx.com.

Dispute

Applicable law: These general terms of sale and the relationship established between SWEDX AB and the customer through these terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Swedish law.

Mediation attempt: The parties shall first attempt to resolve any disputes through negotiations. If the parties cannot reach an agreement, the dispute may be referred to mediation.

Court proceedings: If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations or mediation, the dispute shall be settled by a Swedish general court, with the Stockholm District Court as the court of first instance, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
